Allez, on attaque.
This tutorial was made to allow you to dowload our French releases of DC. If you want English releases, as usual, I suggest you to go on the team Wagner website and click on "Links".
To get a release, you can :
- Wait until an article is published and give you the link.
- See often the tracker of the team MGF.
- Go by yourself download the releases on the IRC server of the team Mamono-Fansub
This tutorial focuses on the 3rd method. But of course, better not begining without any knowledge about IRC, and you will need a software to connect your computer with this protocol.
The most famous software about IRC is mIRC, you can learn to use it there. But past the time limit of the evaluation version, you'll have to pay, that's what we try to avoid here, via a simpler software : X-Chat.
Download X-Chat (0.9 MB)
This software can be installed on both Windows and Linux Systems, but not on Macintosh. Sorry guys, we'll solve this problem later. By now, just download and install XChat (that's automatic), I'll explain what to do.
Ok, let's go ! Launch XChat to see the following screen :
Fill in the 1rst, the 2nd and 3rst text input with 3 nicknames, the 4rth with the name of your computer and the last with your (so-called) real name. Then click "Add" to create a new network in the list on the left side. Name this new network as you wish (Manga-Galaxy for me).
Then, click "Edit". There will be a new menu :
Then click again on "Edit" and replace "newserver/6667" by "irc.recycled-irc.net".
Then close the menu to go back and now you can click on "Connect".
Click on "Join a channel" and fill in "Mamono-Fansub" to open a new window : the channel of Mamono-Fansub. Just in case, say "Hello" to avoid being kicked out instantly. Now find [M-F]XDCC.
... You don't ? Allow me to give you a clue :
Click right on [M-F]XDCC to open a discussion with this bot.
Now, you will ask Mr. XDCC (*smile*) to give you the release. First, look at this web page. Then enter the command :
/msg [M-F]XDCC xdcc send #NumberOfTheFileIwantToDownload
Of course, don't forget to replace NumberOfTheFileIwantToDownload by the number of the file you want.
To take an example, let's imagine there is this file :
#11 [206M] [MF-TT-MGF]Détective_Conan_-_001_VOSTFR_(CHARA)[60155DDE].avi
Then enter the command : /msg [M-F]XDCC xdcc send #11
That way, you'll be able to get all releases of the team before an article about it is published. I apologize for Mac users, we'll do something about it later.
Hoping you enjoyed this tutorial, have a good day !
