In the Poirot café which is located below Mouri's Agency, Ran is looking through the news to the article which describes the arrestation Officer Takagi was involved in. As he said it himself, ‘Everything was perfect.’, and Conan was about to describe what he and his friends saw when a sigh next to Ran broke suddenly the good humour of the group: true, Takagi was lucky, but not so much is Inspector Nakamori from the Second Division of Investigation. It's been a while since he'd been charged of arresting Kaito Kid and the lack of information nor notice from ‘this lousy arrogant thief’ is concerning him. He should have read the newspaper before speaking…
To tell the truth this case is extremely easy to solve and there is almost no doubt that the Moonlight Magician fans will be a little bit disappointed when they will deduce who among the suspects is Kid at the very first reading of the first part of the case. This little game of hide-and-seek may be a way for Gosho to gain some time to prepare the next movie or the next development by playing on the fan effect, since Kaito is pretty well-known. Well, the case is easy to read and you may wonder why Jirokichi is doing this and that sometimes. Also notice the return of the famous karakuri mecanisms expert Samizu Kichiemon, it's the second time Kaito has to face one of the Trap Master's things.
A little bit like last time, this case was dealt with a process which proved how efficient it is. You can notice it's the tenth volume that our team translates, which wouldn't have been possible without the help of all his members, if you want to thank Japoneris, Alexlink, Baron, Mangafan and Édouard, as well as MagicBulletGirl for her scans, please do not hesitate, those comments will be published. All I can add now is to ask you to wait until we finish the next case, a theft in a bank and a strange remembrance.
